If you haven’t voted already during the early voting period, get out there and make your voice heard tomorrow on election day! America’s not perfect, but having the right to vote is one of the greatest privileges that our country gives us. Even if you feel like your vote doesn’t count in the presidential election (I live in a historically “red” state, so I hear plenty of “my vote won’t matter” gripes), remember that at the end of the ballot there’s still the local matters that you can vote for, where your single vote DOES make a difference. When there are people in the world who are still fighting governments that silence their voices, we are truly blessed to be given the indisputable right (not permission, but the right) to express what we believe in, and to make these beliefs known. Whether it’s choosing our next president or increasing funds to your local schools, exercise your right and make your voice heard.
